Addressing the Achievement Debt

Duncan Educational Consultants, LLC believes that the only difference between students who are wealthy high achievers and those who are poor and underperform academically, is exposure to and practice with the tools for success. We use the term achievement debt instead of achievement gap in order to pay homage to those who were historically prevented from academic achievement, due to their race during the United States’ era of chattel slavery. For some, the desire to do better is not enough to combat the challenges of failing schools and dangerous neighborhoods. DEC will work with community organizations and network with business owners to equip students with skills necessary for social, economic, and academic competition. Our partnerships will assist students in becoming employable and upwardly mobile through the acquisition of literacy skills, etiquette, and volunteerism.

Tutoring and Academic Services (In Person in Queens, NY & via webcam worldwide)
The DEC provides children (1st-8th grade) with extensive tutoring services for students. Additionally, DEC has several academic consultants and tutors rendering the services to the students, educational professionals, and educational organizations.
